IFG-MAP (N | P)
Monoammonium phosphate
IFG-MAP is a fully water-soluble fertilizer for all crops’ drip irrigation and foliar applications. It is recommended for use at the beginning of the growing season when phosphorus availability is critical for root system establishment. IFG-MAP can be mixed with other fertilizers to meet nutrient needs throughout the growth cycle. IFG-MAP is suitable for preparing mixtures and producing liquid fertilizers. Avoid combining it with calcium- or magnesium-based fertilizers.

Recommended dosages and application stages
Fertigation
Due to its unique characteristics, IFG-MAP can be applied through any irrigation system and on any growing medium. Unlike phosphoric acid, IFG-MAP is moderately acidic. Thus, it does not form corrosion on fertilizer pumps or irrigation equipment.
Quantitative fertigation
The general dosage for irrigation is 15 kg/hectare.
Each kilogram of IFG-MAP in the tank provides 610 grams of phosphorus oxide (P₂O₅) and 120 grams of ammonium-nitrogen (N-NH₄).
From initial establishment to flowering, open-field-grown tomatoes require phosphorus at a rate of 1.5 kg P₂O₅ per hectare per day. To provide this, apply IFG-MAP at a rate of 2.5 kg/ha per day. This will also supply 0.3 kg of nitrogen per hectare per day.
Foliar nutrition
Foliar spray with IFG-MAP is effective in supplying phosphorus whenever a quick response to deficient plants is required. It should be considered a supplemental method for soil-applied phosphorus. The concentration of IFG-MAP solutions can be increased according to leaf age.
On young leaves, a spray concentration of 0.5% IFG-MAP is recommended in most crops. On mature leaves and more tolerant crops, a higher concentration (1.0% or more) may be applied.
The product exhibits mixability with fertilizers and pesticides.
IFG-MAP is compatible with the majority of commonly used pesticides and fertilizers. However, it should not be mixed with calcium or magnesium fertilizers. It is advisable to confirm the compatibility of your intended spray mix by preparing a sample of the spray materials at their recommended concentrations to rule out the possibility of a detrimental cross-reaction. This mixture should be sprayed onto a small area before commercial treatment to assess whether any adverse effects occur.
